Summary

Files you process on FileKnack never leave your device. All compression, parsing, merging and generation runs locally in your browser. We do not have servers that receive, store, or inspect your files.

What we collect

• Analytics: anonymous usage data (pages viewed, device type, country) via Google Analytics, used to improve the site. No personally identifying information.
• Local storage: your cookie-consent choice is stored in your browser's localStorage and never sent anywhere.
• Advertising: once live, Google AdSense may set cookies to deliver and measure ads. You can opt out via your browser or Google Ads Settings.

What we don't collect

• The contents of any file you process
• Your name, email, or any account information (we have no accounts)
• Payment information (the tools are free)

Cookies

We use essential cookies for site functionality and optional cookies for analytics and advertising. You can decline optional cookies from the banner that appears on first visit.

Third parties

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Analytics is provided by Google. Advertising, when enabled, is provided by Google AdSense. These providers may process technical data (IP address, user agent) as part of delivering the service.
